Harford Mall shooting suspect still on the run, two females arrested

BEL AIR, MD—Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at Harford Mall on Sunday.

One man was shot inside the mall at around 4 p.m. on June 2, 2024.  The 42-year-old male victim was flown to a trauma center.

The investigation has resulted in the arrest of two adult females, Lisa Gregg of Edgewood and Lateia Green of Middle River. Both women have been charged with accessory to attempted murder and are being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center.

The suspect, Wesley Larry Lyons is a 35-year-old man from Edgewood. The Bel Air Police Department is actively searching for Lyons, who is considered armed and dangerous.  He also has addresses in the Rosedale and Middle River areas.

The shooting appears to be a targeted act, with Lyons and the victim knowing each other prior to the shooting. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
