PHOENIX, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department and students from Baltimore County Public Schools went out on the water this weekend with fishing rods in hand for the first annual Badges for Bass.

Twenty BCPS middle and high schoolers joined officers during the outing that was held at Loch Raven Reservoir on Saturday.

Students who took part in the program were nominated by BCPS guidance counselors and school resource officers. The event was held in partnership with the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.
