NOTTINGHAM, MD—A pedestrian was struck in the Nottingham area on Friday morning.

The crash occurred at just after 8:30 a.m. on May 31 in the 9300-block of Belair Road.

Life-threatening injuries have been reported.

Route 1 has been shut down in both directions between Joppa Road and Klausmier Road.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
