NOTTINGHAM, MD—On May 23rd, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks joined parents and educators in honoring 16 students at Honeygo Elementary School who participated in the Patriots and Defenders program.
The Patriots and Defenders program tests pupils on history, citizenship, and geography.
Councilman Marks helped start the program as a parent in 2018.
“I would like to congratulate all the students and thank the parents and educators who supported them,” said Councilman Marks. “In particular, thank you to Erin Ross who has done an exceptional job as coordinator. We are proud of Honeygo!”
