NOTTINGHAM, MD—The District 7 Delegates this week announced the awarding of their annual legislative scholarships. Delegates Ryan Nawrocki, Kathy Szeliga, and Lauren Arikan hosted a celebration ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, to honor the recipients and their families. The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company hosted the event in their truck bay.
The scholarship application opened in January and decisions were made in May. District 7 received over 250 applications, and over $150,000 has been awarded to local scholars. The 2025-2026 Scholarship Application will open for District 7 on January 1st, 2025.
