TOWSON, MD—Detectives have arrested eight juveniles and one 18-year-old following a series of crimes that occurred last week in Parkville and Towson. Detectives have identified three separate groups of teens responsible for committing these crimes which include carjacking, robbery, and burglary.
Detectives have taken four juveniles into custody for committing two armed carjackings on May 10, 2024. One carjacking occurred in the 7700-block of Harford Road in Parkville and the other occurred in the 1000-block of York Road in Towson.
A 17-year-old female, a 13-year-old male, a 14-year-old female, and a 15-year-old female were taken into custody in connection with these crime.
As those carjackings were being investigated, an adult and two juveniles were arrested for repeatedly burglarizing a local business located at 1040 York Road. The business was burglarized on May 7 and again on May 11, 2024.
Keyon Addison, 18; a 16-year-old male; and a 17-year-old male were arrested.
In addition, officers arrested two 14-year-old suspects following a reported robbery that occurred on an MTA bus in the area of York Road and Chesapeake Avenue in Towson at approximately 8:30 p.m. on May 10.
Two 14-year-old males were taken into custody.
The investigating is on-going to identify other possible suspects who may be involved in the above crimes.
