Police believe fatal Nottingham shooting was ‘targeted incident,’ reward offered

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police believe the shooting that left a woman dead on Sunday in the Nottingham area was a targeted incident.



At around 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024, officers responded to the unit block of Whitelaw Place (21236) for a reported homicide. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. It is believed this was a targeted incident.

Homicide detectives have now taken over this investigation. As they investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, detectives are asking anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.

Information may also be provided anonymously by contacting Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587 (7LOCKUP). Information provided by phone or online through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Residents may also provide details about this crime through the Baltimore County Police Department’s iWATCH program.
