EDGEWOOD, MD—The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has announced an indictment in connection with a homicide that occurred in Edgewood in 2021.
At just after 11:45 p.m. on June 9, 2021, deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 6200-block of Edgewood Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male, identified as Jarmil Christopher Stewart, 20, of Edgewood, suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. Stewart was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Following an investigation, detectives developed probable cause to charge suspect Journay George Tucker, 46, of Edgewood with murder.
The investigation is ongoing, no further information will be released at this time.
