Diana Alzate, the director of Centenary University’s First Year Experience, received the Advisor of the Year Award for her work with the University’s chapter of Alpha Alpha Alpha, which supports first-generation college students.
Alzate, a Hackettstown resident, has served as a role model for many first-generation students at Centenary University and has helped to introduce the concept of “Tri Alpha” to the university, which promotes excellence, leadership development, and campus and community service.
Columbia’s Mathias O’Neil received the Centenary Trifecta Award and Perry Hall resident Michael Rash received the Catapano Family Community Service Award.
