Ebenezer Road shut down after dump truck takes out utility poles

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Ebenezer Road has been shut down in the Middle River area after a dump truck struck several utility poles on Thursday morning.

At around 7:30 a.m. on April 11, crews from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to a crash involving a dump truck at Ebenezer Road and Bird River Road (21220).  The dump truck reportedly struck and took down several utility poles.



Arriving units found that power and cable lines from a pole to two houses were down across Ebenezer Road. BGE and police have responded and are evaluating.

Ebenezer Road is currently not passable between Bird River Road and Stumpfs Road.  Motorists should avoid the area.
