Overnight stabbing reported in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, MD—Harford County detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the Edgewood area overnight.

At around 12:45 a.m. on April 9, 2024, patrol deputies with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2500-block of Hanson Road for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies located a 41-year-old Edgewood man suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local trauma center.



Detectives canvased the area around Hanson Road for witnesses and are working to establish a suspect and motive in the case.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public at this time.
