WHITE MARSH, MD—The carnival at White Marsh Mall will not reopen this week following multiple disturbances and arrests on Saturday night.
Police responded to the mall during the evening hours on April 6 area after several large groups of juveniles began fighting and disrupting the festival, despite extra security measures that were added this year.
Air and K-9 units were called in to disperse the crowd, and some spillover was reported in neighboring communities and businesses.
Police have confirmed that four juveniles were arrested, three related to the Saturday disturbances and the other in reference to an unrelated theft.
The carnival was originally scheduled to run through April 14, however it will now remain shut down.
