PARKVILLE, MD—Pappas Seafood Company has announced that it will soon close its Parkville market location.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of our beloved Parkville Seafood Market after 16 wonderful years,” Pappas said on Friday. “Unfortunately, this old building is in need of costly repairs that are well beyond our budget. Our last day of operation will be on Sunday, April 28th. We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of our amazing customers who have supported us throughout the years. We couldn’t have done any of this without all of you cheering us on.”
The Parkville building is where Pappas’ shipping department began with hand-written labels and just a few orders a week.
“Although we must say goodbye to Parkville, we are excited to have our newest Perry Hall Express carryout,” Pappas added. “Same kitchen, same staff, same beloved recipes. We hope to see all of our loyal customers at this location as we continue to serve fresh and delicious seafood to the community. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding during this difficult time.”
This closure will not affect Pappas’ restaurant locations.
