Baltimore County Summer Basketball League to kick off in July

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County’s Summer Basketball League will kick off this summer.

With the advocacy and support of Delegate Carl Jackson and other community leaders, the league will run Tuesdays or Thursdays, July 9 – August 29 in Randallstown and Middle River.

The Baltimore County Summer Basketball League invites middle and high school basketball players into a fast-paced league and is a great way to stay active, make friends, and develop teamwork.

“I have been working with other Baltimore County leaders for the past year to create a county-wide Summer Youth Basketball League,” said Delegate Jackson. “I am so pleased to say that our hard work has paid off and that we are ready to launch!”

“This league will provide a safe and fun space for kids to engage in physical fitness, foster teamwork, and instill essential values that will last a lifetime,” Jackson added. “I want to thank County Executive John Olszewski Jr., the amazing team at Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, and Local Community Leaders for their help and investment in making this league a priority.”
