27-year-old killed, woman struck by stray bullet in Baltimore County shooting

BALTIMORE, MD—Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Baltimore County on Friday night.

At just after 10:30 p.m. on March 29, officers responded to the 5700-block of Emelia Avenue (21206) for a report of shots fired. Authorities arrived on the scene and located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.



Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He has been identified as 27-year-old Jordan Taylor.

A second victim, who was unrelated to the altercation and seated in her vehicle nearby, was struck by a stray bullet. That victim is identified as a 20-year-old female whom an acquaintance drove to a local hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
