Construction delays emergency response following 5-vehicle crash on I-95 in White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, MD—Emergency crews were delayed in responding to a crash on Interstate 95 in White Marsh on Friday morning.

The accident was reported at just before 7 a.m. on Friday, March 22, along northbound I-95 in the area of New Forge Road.



Five vehicles were involved in the crash and the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reports that it took more than 30 minutes for its medic unit to reach the scene due to construction blocking the shoulders of the highway.

Traffic was backed up along I-95 for much of the morning commute.  There has been no word on any injuries.
