BALTIMORE, MD—Attention, night owls and early risers! A rocket launch should be visible in Maryland during the overnight hours.
NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility will support Rocket Lab‘s Electron launch for the National Reconnaissance Office no earlier than March 21 at 2:15 a.m. ET. The launch window is 2:15 – 6:30 a.m. ET.
Currently, weather is 80% favorable for launch. A slight chance of high ground winds is the only concern.
The Wallops Visitor Center will not be open for launch viewing. A livestream will be hosted on Rocket Lab’s YouTube channel. The launch may be visible along the East Coast, weather permitting.
Visibility for the launch can be seen in the graphic above.
