Councilman Marks: Grant awarded to improve downtown Perry Hall

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County will award the Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association over $19,000 to support community events in northeastern Baltimore County, Councilman David Marks announced on Wednesday.

The $19,906.71 will be used to support The Town Fair, beautify the community gateway at Perry Hall Elementary School, and decorate the Christmas Tree at Belair Road & Joppa Road.

“For three decades, the Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association has been a positive force in our community, supporting businesses and making this a great place to live, work, and raise a family,” said PHWMBA president Jean Borne.

“This grant from the Department of Planning will continue to support improvements and activities in an area often called ‘Downtown Perry Hall,'” added Councilman Marks, who sponsored the legislation that created the Perry Hall commercial revitalization district.
