Where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend in the Nottingham area

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Top o’ the mornin’ to ya’.  Looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend (safely and responsibly, of course)?

Here’s a look at what various local pubs and restaurants are offering in and around the Nottingham area.

Looney’s Pub Perry Hall will have live music from Crushing Day from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday, March 15th.  Looney’s will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday and feature an Irish brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Inside on Saturday, there will be live music by The ShamRogues 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., Tripwire 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., and Doc Marten and the Flannels 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.  On the patio, you’ll find Love Hate Mixtape 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Kanye Twitty 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

On Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day), Looney’s Pub Perry Hall will open at 8 a.m. and feature an Irish brunch until noon.  Inside, there will be live music by The Ogham Stones 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., FKNA 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., and Mad Decent 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. On the patio, Starcrush will be performing 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. and Social Drinking will play 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.



On THE AVENUE at White Marsh, Bar Louie will begin the St. Patrick’s Day festivities at 2 p.m. on Sunday with a live DJ, green beer, and JELL-O shots.  At Red Brick Station, you’ll find a corned beef hash breakfast on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and St. Patrick’s Day food specials from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

McAvoy’s in Parkville feature live music by Radio Hero at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.  Karma takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday there will be live music by SpinOff and Bad Apple from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.  McAvoy’s will also open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  You’ll find Irish beers, Irish breakfast, and Irish food specials all weekend long.

At Racers’ Cafe in Parkville, you’ll find Inquiring Minds with Andy Newman performing at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Fast Eddie & the Slowpokes performing at 7 p.m. on Saturday.  On Sunday, Racers’ Cafe will open at 9 a.m. and feature breakfast plus food and drink specials all day.
