BALTIMORE, MD—Two teens have been arrested following an armed carjacking in Baltimore on Thursday afternoon.
At just before 4:45 p.m. on February 29, officers responded to the 4000-block of East Northern Parkway to investigate a call for an armed carjacking.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim who stated that he was carjacked at gunpoint at the scene by an unidentified group of juvenile males. The suspects carjacked the man and fled the scene.
Later that day, Baltimore County officers responded to Belair Road and Kenwood Avenue (21206) to investigate a call for a group of juvenile males bailing out of a vehicle. Officers canvassed the area located and arrested a 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old male in the 6000-block of Westwood Avenue. The teens were identified as suspects in the armed carjacking.
Both suspects were transported to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, where they were charged accordingly.
