TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Association for Counseling and Development is now accepting nominations for School Counselor of the Year, School Counseling Advocate of the Year, and Rookie School Counselor of the Year.
These awards are given annually to recognize the contributions of school counselors and school counseling advocates to the Baltimore County Public Schools system.
To be eligible for the School Counselor of the Year awards, counselors must demonstrate leadership, advocacy, and collaboration in addressing students’ academic and social-emotional development. A parent, teacher, or school staff member who consistently supports the work of school counselors can also be nominated for the School Counseling Advocate of the Year award.
Elementary, middle, and high school students are eligible to be nominated.
All nominations are due Monday, March 11.
