BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Baltimore area.
The warning will be in effect from 11 p.m. Friday night through 5 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Forecasters say heavy snow is likely, with total accumulations of 4 to 6 inches.
Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible for a few hours under the heaviest snow bands.
Visibility may be reduced to less than one half mile at times. Travel may become difficult.
Baltimore County Public Schools officials have cancelled all activities for Saturday, February 16, 2024.
