Suspect arrested in connection with June shooting in northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD—A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that occurred back in June in northeast Baltimore.

At just after 5 p.m. on June 1, 2023, officers responded to the 5300-block of Frankford Avenue (21206) to investigate a report of a shooting.



Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Investigators have arrested 33-year-old Desmond Lark of Baltimore in connection with this incident.

Detectives learned that Lark shot the victim following a dispute.

On February 8, 2024, detectives arrested Lark in the 4200-block of Pimlico Road without incident. Lark has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
