Scratch-off, Powerball produce new millionaires in Maryland

BALTIMORE, MD—Two Maryland Lottery players are now millionaires, one each in Catonsville and Lexington Park, thanks to Powerball and a scratch-off ticket.

Also, as the Mega Millions jackpot inched past a third of a billion dollars this week, a player in Baltimore County won a $30,000 prize on the game.

In all, 41 Maryland Lottery players won prizes of $10,000 or more in the week ending February 4, 2024, and players collected prizes totaling more than $29.9 million in that span.

The $1 million-winning 100X the Cash scratch-off was sold at Ingleside Liquors, located at 5648 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville.



The $1 million-winning Powerball ticket was sold on February 2 at Canopy Liquors, located at 21636 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park.  The winning ticket remains unclaimed at of Monday, February 5th.

The $30,000-winning Mega Millions ticket was sold on February 2 at Woodlawn Shell, located at 6600 Security Boulevard in Woodlawn.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.

Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prizes, and scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date.
