JOPPA, MD—Hazmat crews are responding to a fuel spill in the Joppa area.
The incident was reported at around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24th.
Reports indicate that a tractor-trailer went off the roadway in the 2400-block of Winters Run Road and its saddle tanks are leaking fuel on both sides.
Hazmat crews are attempting to pump off the fuel, and Winters Run Road is blocked, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. Motorists should avoid the area.
