BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement warning motorists of dense fog throughout the Baltimore area on Wednesday.
Forecasters say locally dense fog remains over areas along the I-95 corridor between Washington DC, Baltimore, and northeast Maryland.
Visibilities may be as low as half a mile in some spots.
Dense fog is hazardous if driving at high speeds. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility and are advised to slow down and increase following distance.
Visibility will gradually improve later this afternoon.
