Nottingham resident releases first children’s book

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Nottingham resident Jamie Sopinski has released her first children’s book, “Sprinkle Love.”

Released on January 5, 2024 by Austin Macauley Publishers, “Sprinkle Love” was conceptualized as a poem in the fall of 2020, at a time of collective trauma and hardship.

An avid journaler, Sopinski thought deeply about what she wanted herself and her future children to believe about the world — and the love that is waiting to be discovered within it. She soon realized that she had the foundation for a children’s book, complete with easy-to-remember rhymes, focusing on the power of love in our daily lives.

“I thought about how cool it would be if kids had these thoughts of love ingrained in their minds and easily accessible in the hard moments, too,” Sopinski shared.

Now a mother of two, Sopinski hopes to instill the lessons from “Sprinkle Love” in her children.

Residing in Nottingham with her family, Sopinski is a speech-language pathologist with an M.S. from Towson University and a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University.

“Sprinkle Love” is available for order from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Austin Macauley Publishers.
