Royal Farms in Middle River robbed at knifepoint

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Police are investigating after a local convenience store was robbed this week.

At just after 12 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, a suspect entered the Royal Farms store located in the 12500-block of Eastern Avenue in Middle River/Chase (21220).



The suspect got a coffee and then approached the counter. He then displayed a kitchen knife and demanded cash, according to Councilman David Marks.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot heading westbound on Eastern Avenue. A perimeter was established and K-9 units were deployed, however the suspect was not located.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
