EDGEWOOD, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in the Edgewood area on Tuesday night.
The house trailer fire was reported at just before 9:30 p.m. on January 9 in the 600-block of Holly Avenue.
It took 28 firefighters from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Abingdon Fire Company about 10 minutes to get the flames under control.
The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal reports that the blaze was contained to the bedroom with extensive soot, smoke, and water damage throughout the remainder of the home. The fire caused approximately $75,000 in damages and was caused by an electrical failure.
Harford County Disaster Assistance is assisting the family.
