Attempted robbery reported in White Marsh, suspect arrested following Overlea assault

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an armed robbery, an attempted robbery, and two assaults that were reported this week.

At around 12:15 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024, a suspect committed a first-degree assault in the unit block of Madeline Avenue in Overlea (21206).  The suspect was subsequently arrested.

At just before 3 p.m. on Monday, January 1, an armed suspect robbed someone in the 5800-block of Westwood Avenue in Overlea (21206).  The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.



At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, a suspect attempted to a business located in the 8200-block of Honeygo Boulevard in Nottingham/White Marsh (21236).  No items were taken.

At just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, an armed suspect committed a first-degree assault against someone in the area of Honeygo Boulevard at Belair Road in Perry Hall (21128).
