Three-alarm fire damages over 30 apartments in Baltimore County

WINDSOR MILL, MD—An early-morning fire has damaged dozens of apartments in Baltimore County.

The fire was first reported at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, on E. Bend Court in Windsor Mill.



Crews initially arrived to find heavy fire conditions from a second floor that quickly spread to the attic space. Over 30 apartments have been affected by the blaze.

The fire is now under control, however crews remain on the scene.  A third alarm was sounded and it took over 90 firefighters to control the blaze.

The Maryland Transit Administration is supplying buses to keep displaced residents warm. The Baltimore County Police Department fire investigators are on the scene determining the cause of the fire.
