Life-threatening injuries reported in head-on crash on I-95

WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews remain on the scene of a serious overnight crash on Interstate 95 in White Marsh.

At just after 4:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, units responded to a head-on collision involving a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle on southbound I-95 near New Forge Road.

The crash resulted in a fire, entrapment, and life-threatening injuries, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company. Hazmat crews responded to the accident as well.

As of 7 a.m., all southbound lanes remained closed at the Mountain Road exit.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
