54-yar-old killed while working on vehicle in Dundalk

DUNDALK, MD—Police are investigating after a man was killed while working on a vehicle in Dundalk.

At approximately 11 a.m., on Saturday, December 2, 2023, officers responded to the intersection of Jaydee Avenue and German Hill Road (21222) for a motor vehicle crash that involved a pedestrian injury.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department determined that 54-year-old Dayton Balliet Jr. was lying on the ground working on a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was on a jack.  A Toyota Sienna then attempted to park behind the Chrysler and struck it, which pushed the Chrysler off of its jack.
