10-vehicle crash shuts down northbound I-95 in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a major crash along Interstate 95 in Joppa.

The accident was reported at just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon along northbound I-95 just past the Mountain Road exit.



The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reports that approximately ten vehicles were involved in the crash, including a tractor-trailer.

Two injured patients required medical attention and northbound I-95 has been shut down.

Motorist should expect heavy delays in the area.
