BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning for portions of Baltimore County.
The warning will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening through 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Forecasters say moderate to minor flooding is expected through Tuesday evening along the Chesapeake Bay and tidal Potomac.
Coastal flood warnings have been issued for southern Baltimore County, Annapolis, and Straits Point.
Onshore winds will continue to elevate flooding risks through next several high tide cycles.
One to two feet of inundation above ground level is expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
Residents should take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
