Amtrak temporarily halts Baltimore train service due to police activity

BALTIMORE, MD—Amtrak has temporarily halted all train service in Baltimore.

At around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Amtrak officials announced that all train traffic would be temporarily stopped from entering and exiting the Baltimore area due to police activity.

The incident in question involves a commuter train, however no further details have been provided.

Amtrak says officials will provide an update as more information becomes available.
