65-year-old pedestrian struck and killed in Rosedale

ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Rosedale on Wednesday morning.

The single-vehicle collision occurred along Rossville Boulevard near Shakerwood Road (21237).



Officers initially responded to the scene following a reported single-vehicle collision that involved a pedestrian. Detectives determined that the pedestrian was struck by a 2011 Mercedes Benz C300 traveling southbound on Rossville Boulevard.

The 65-year-old pedestrian, Fabricio Antonio Cubias-Mejia, was crossing the roadway in a when he was struck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This collision remains part of an open investigation.
