Several Nottingham-area schools on ‘lockout’ status due to police investigation

UPDATE 2: There is no threat to the community, per Councilman David Marks. Police received a tip about someone wearing suspicious clothing, but an investigation revealed no credible threat.

UPDATE: Police say the lockout has now been lifted.

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Several schools have been placed on “lockout” status due to an ongoing police investigation.

On Thursday afternoon, the Baltimore County Police Department said that the following schools were on “lockout” status:

  • Perry Hall Elementary School
  • Perry Hall Middle School
  • Honeygo Elementary School
  • Seven Oaks Elementary School
