ROSEDALE, MD—An adult has been charged after a loaded gun was found at Golden Ring Middle School earlier this month.

At just after 2:15 p.m. on November 1, a loaded firearm was recovered from a 12-year-old who entered Golden Ring Middle School.

Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department have charged 45-year-old Heather Rao with allowing a minor to gain access to the firearm.

The youth was not charged in the case due to his age.
