NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an auto theft, an armed robbery, and several assaults and burglaries that were reported over the past week.
Sometime between Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22, 2023, an individual attempted to break into a residence in the 2600-block of Matthews Drive in Carney (21234) but was unsuccessful.
At just before 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, a known individual assaulted someone in the 7900-block of Dalesford Road in Parkville (21234). The suspect was subsequently arrested.
At just after 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, an individual broke into a business located in the 100-block of Beacon Road in Middle River (21220) and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
At around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, an armed individual committed a first-degree assault against two victims in the 500-block of Potomac Avenue in Rosedale (21237).
At 6 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, someone stole a black 2010 Infiniti with MD tag “3FH6517” from the 1200-block of Halstead Road in Hillendale (21234).
At around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, three suspects, one of whom implied a weapon, robbed someone in the area of Belair Road and W. Overlea Avenue in Overlea (21206). The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle.
At around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, a known individual broke into a residence in the 7900-block of Shirley Avenue in Rosedale (21237).
At just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, officers responded to the 6600-block of Glenbarr Court in Hillendale (21234) for a report of shots fired. Officers were unable to locate the suspect or victim in this incident.
