KINGSVILLE, MD—Maryland State Highway Administration crews will soon begin a resurfacing project on Belair Road in Kingsville.
Work will begin on Friday, October 13 along Belair Road between Mount Vista Road and Jerusalem Road. The $1.2 million project should be complete by mid-November, weather permitting.
The project includes milling (removing the top layer of asphalt), paving, and restriping approximately one mile of US 1. Drivers should expect single lane closures on US 1 Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The State Highway Administration’s contractor, Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium, will use temporary traffic signs and cones to guide drivers safely through the work zone.
Drivers are asked to slow down in the work zone for the safety of all drivers and the crews working to improve our roadways.
