Crews to continue I-95, I-695 roadwork in Baltimore County next week

BALTIMORE, MD—The Maryland State Highway Administration has scheduled temporary lane and ramp closures on projects on I-95 and I-695 in Baltimore County between Sunday night, October 8 and Friday afternoon, October 13. Temporary shoulder closures and any construction work behind concrete work zone barriers will also be permitted at any time.

Temporary overnight ramp and lane closure are required as part of the ongoing rehabilitation project for 10 bridges within the interchange. Learn more about the multi-bridge project here. Beginning Sunday night, October 8, motorists can expect the following activities, weather permitting:

I-695 TSMO I-70 to MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard)

The State Highway Administration will also continue temporary overnight shoulder and lane closures along sections of I-695 starting Sunday night, October 8, weather permitting. Temporary daytime lane and shoulder closures along sections of I-695 will be permitted 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.



These tasks are part of the I-695 Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) project from I-70 to MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard). Learn more about the I-695 TSMO project here.

Motorists are asked to reduce speeds approaching and while in active work zones.

Drivers are asked to stay alert, stay focused, look for reduced speed limits as well as driving pattern changes, and slow down in construction zones. Motorists may dial #77 on their mobile devices for roadside assistance.
