Southbound I-95 shut down in Harford County after tractor-trailer crash damages overpass

BEL AIR, MD—Crews are on the scene of a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in Harford County.

The crash was reported at just before noon on Monday, October 2 along southbound I-95 at the Route 24 exit.

Initial reports indicate that the Route 24 overpass was damaged in the crash.  Southbound I-95 has been shut down between Route 24 and the Mountain Road exit in Joppa.  Route 24 has also been shut down.

Crews are working to clean up fluid that is leaking from multiple vehicles.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
