Armed robberies reported in Nottingham, Parkville

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a vehicle theft, two burglaries, and two armed robberies that were reported recently.

At 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, an individual entered a home in the 9000-block of Perring Park Road in Carney (21234) by using a key that was hidden outside.  The suspect stole two laptops then fled the scene.

At just before 10 a.m. on Friday, September 22, an individual entered a business in the 8100-block of Honeygo Boulevard in Nottingham (21236), stole a pair of shoes, and wore them out of the store. When the suspect returned to the store, he pointed a firearm at the manager.



At just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 24, three individuals entered a business in the 2000-block of E. Joppa Road in Parkville/Carney (21234), displayed a firearm, and stole several items. The suspects then fled the scene.

At just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 25, two individuals were arrested in an attempted vehicle theft in the area of Cloister Road and Wentworth Avenue in Hillendale (21234) which left the victim’s vehicle damaged.

At just before 11:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, two to three individuals attempted to enter a location in the 1800-block of Yakona Road in Parkville (21234) before fleeing on foot.

At just after 11:15 p.m. on Monday, September 25, an individual stole a white 2007 Ford van with MD tag “6EW1608” from the 8300-block of Edgedale Road in Parkville.
