BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Baltimore area.
The advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
As a tropical depression bears down on the mid-Atlantic, forecasters say northeast winds of 25 to 30 mph are expected, with gusts of up to 45 mph. Tropical Storm Warnings and Gale Warnings are in effect in some areas along the East Coast.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Motorists should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Residents should secure loose outdoor objects.
