Freedom Federal Credit Union, Harford Community College announce #MyFightingOwlsFreedom social media contest

BEL AIR, MD—Freedom Federal Credit Union, in partnership with Harford Community College, has announced the launch of a new contest open to anyone connected to Harford Community College as a student, alumnus, employee, or parent. The #MyFightingOwlsFreedom contest invites participants to post a photo with a caption explaining how the college has helped them find freedom in their lives along with the hashtag.

#MyFightingOwlsFreedom entries will be accepted until October 9, either through public social media posts or by emailing the entry to [email protected]. The community will be invited to come together to vote for their favorite entries to win cash prizes of $500, $250, and $150 for the three stories with the most votes. The live vote will take place on Freedom’s Instagram and Facebook pages the week of October 16-20. Freedom Federal Credit Union is known locally for its viral social media contests that often directly promote charitable causes. The Credit Union’s award-winning #FreedomToHelpChallenge has been spreading awareness for local causes and volunteers for the last five years. The #MyFightingOwlsFreedom campaign will focus on spreading stories of how Harford Community College is creating freedom and possibility in so many ways.
