Perry Hall Library to close for minor renovations

PERRY HALL, MD—Baltimore County Public Library’s Perry Hall Branch, including the drive-through window, will be closing next week for renovations.

The branch will be closed from Monday, September 11 through Wednesday, September 13. The outdoor book drop will remain open through the closure. The last day for customers will be Sunday, September 10.

The Perry Hall Branch is located at 9685 Honeygo Boulevard. The closest branches are the Parkville-Carney Branch, located at 9509 Harford Road, 21234, or White Marsh Branch, located at 8311 Sandpiper Court, 21236, but customers are welcome to use any other locations.

In the ongoing effort to maintain 21st century libraries, the library is renovating the Perry Hall Branch to make the space functional for customers and staff. The library previously renovated the service desk in the center of the library; now the branch will close while construction crews tear down the circulation desk and renovate the area with seating and shelves.

The renovation is expected to wrap up on Friday, September 15, however, the branch is only closing during the period of renovation that could be potentially hazardous to staff and the public. Customers who have items on hold should pick them up by Saturday, September 9. If not, holds will be available for seven (7) days after the branch reopens.
