UPDATE: The tractor-trailer reportedly contains clothing that continues to burn. Additional tankers from the Maryland Department of the Environment are being deployed. Traffic along southbound I-95 is being detoured at Exit 77.

JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a tractor-trailer fire on Interstate 95 in the Joppa area.
The blaze broke out at just before 5:45 p.m. on Monday evening along southbound I-95 at Mountain Road (Exit 74).
Crews from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, a tanker from Aberdeen Proving Grounds, and hazmat crews are on the scene.
All southbound lanes of I-95 have been shut down.
There has been no word on any injuries.
Motorists should use an alternate route.
