Jaws of Life used after 7-vehicle crash shuts down I-95 in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews responded to a serious crash on I-95 in the Joppa area on Friday afternoon.

At just before 4 p.m., units responded to a crash involving seven vehicles on northbound I-95 just past the Mountain Road exit (Exit 74).

The Jaws of Life were utilized to free one trapped victim and northbound I-95 was totally shut down, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

There has been no update on any other injuries.
