Quadruple shooting reported in Joppa

UPDATE 3: Police now say the suspect shot his mother and two cousins before killing himself.

UPDATE 2: All four individuals have died.



UPDATE: The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and reports that there is no threat to the community at this time.

JOPPA, MD—Police are responding to a quadruple shooting in the Joppa area.

At around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 300-block of Trimble Road for a reported shooting.

At the scene, authorities found four shooting victims.

There has been no word on the victims’ conditions. Medevac is being dispatched.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
